Ciaté Caviar Nails

Ladies, may I present to you, a product that I have been waiting for for almost a month.  It is the Ciaté Caviar manicure kit! Ihave literally been checking every sephora store in my city for a month, and as they STILL are not in stores, I ordered them online as soon as they came out. If you don't know what this is, its a manicure kit, where you simply paint your nails the base colors they give you and then pour the little caviar beads on top,and press the beads down gently, so it creates a 3D look. It doesn't say to put a top coat on but I apllied a very teeny amount of top coat to the edge of my nails. You use the tray they give you while you pour the beads over them, and when you're done you just use the funnel, and pour them back into the bottle! It's super easy and it creates such a great look. I've been staring at my nails all day, when they catch the light they realyl are amazing looking. They come in three different colors right now, white, black, and rainbow. I would definitely recommend buying these. They're $25 dollars which is kind of pricey. But I really enjoy them, and I will be buying the other two colors. I'm in love with these, and the looks they give off. Will you try these?

LUSH Floating Island

Taking a bath is honestly one of the most relaxing things ever. Take a new magazine, a candle, some sort of bubbles, and it's like you're at your own in-home spa. So to further my in-home spa experience, I visited LUSH and picked up their Floating Island bath melt. At first I was a little skeptical on their bath melts, cause some of them are quite small for about seven dollars, and a one time bath use. But after using floating Island I will probably buy them again. If you're looking for more of the bubble route, theses aren't for you. I had to cut mine in half with a knife because I didn't want to take that long of a bath, and I didn't want it to go to waste. After cutting it in half I put it in my hot bath and just let it float and fizz in their while I enjoyed my bath. It gave off really nice smells of vanilla, and almost lemon but not too strong. It's a really nice smell. I you're going to buy a bath melt I say buy this one. It's big enough to cut in half and it smells divine!
Have you tried bath melts? Which one is your favorite?

NARS Wonder

You guys don't know how long I have been looking for an orange lipgloss, not lipstick, that will show up on my lips. I've been looking literally forever. After trying many, many on I finally found one that shows up and that I love! It's called Wonder and it's from NARS. It is really pigmented which is why I love it, and orange is really good go too summer look for your lips, eyes, cheeks, anything. I also feel like wearing orange is really daring, and it makes me feel confident whenever I put it on. It was $24, as are most of their lipglosses. But if you're scared to buy such an expensive lipgloss, don't be. It really is worth it. I've aways used MAC's lipglasses, and lipglosses but compared to NARS they're nothing. NARS isn't quite as sticky as MAC which is a huge bonus!
  What's your favorite NARS lipgloss?

OPI Gargantuan Green Grape & Pedal Faster Suzi

Of course everyone like the brights and the pastels for spring and summer. These colors, in my opinion could go under both categories! The green color, Gargantuan Green Grape, is really pastel, but it is also somewhat bright. I wore it all day, and I got compliments. It's pastel but bright enough to really pop on your hand and with any outfit. It's the kind of nailpolish that when you look at you get excited. And this pink, Pedal Faster Suzi,  is really springy to me. It's light, but not too light, and it's a nice change from all the brighter pinks you'll be wearing during the rest of the summer, and it has some sparkles, so it looks good in the sun! They're both OPI so they go on really well, and they only take two coats each!
Will you try these colors out?

NARS Magic Moon

Lately I have been getting into NARS more, and while I was shopping my life away at their counter in Sephora I ran across this! Its a mini shadow pencil, and it was only ten dollars! I got it on my way to the checkout where they have all of the mini stuff. I really like this blue color. Blue is really a good summer color for me, and as soon as I put this on I felt that I was on a boat, or in Greece, or somewhere very blue. It's a really great color. I also like it because it's a good way to wear a bright color. It's bright but it can also be seen as not bright, so if you're not that into brights, or you want to start getting into brights try this out.You can use it as an all over eye shadow, or you can use it as a liner, which is what I prefer. When I run out of this I will most definitely be buying it in the normal size, that's how much I love it!
Will you guys try this color out?

LUSH Sea Vegetable

Lush, lush, lush. I can't get enough of them. I'm broadening my horizons on their soap, and the other day I picked up their  Sea Vegetable soap. On the packaging it says that it cost $12.65, but that's because I had another small one for my mother, so together both of them were $12.65. So this soap smells, very fresh, almost citrus like, and very much like the ocean, but in a good way. I was told it was going to be exfoliating but I felt like it was just kind of a trick. The top of it is where there is sea salt, and seaweed. I was really excited about this but when I got in the shower it kind of just broke off, instead of exfoliating, and the second con is that it didn't lather very well, or at all really. Compared to my porridge one(which I rate a 9), I give this one a sad 5. Only because the smell was okay, and it didn't lather, and it didn't exfoliate, so for me it earns a 5.
Have you tried this soap?

MAC Up The Amp

So I lost the box to this because I was so excited to wear it without taking pictures first, but this is my new favorite lipstick. I have been wearing this non-stop. It goes on so nicely and it is perfect for the summer. To put this on and make it stay without creasing I've been putting a tiny bit of concealer on my lips and then this over. I used to use MAC lip primer but I returned it because it sucked so bad, do not buy their lip primer! Putting concealer on works way better and it brings out the color of this lipstick really well. I wore it out all day on Saturday and I got lots of compliments! So if you don't have a purple lipstick yet, go and get this one!
Are any of you gonna try purple lipstick this Spring/Summer?

Butter London Nailpolish

Today I also have these two nail polishes from Butter London, if you're not familiar with Butter London they're a 3 free nail company, and they make great shades! They cost about 14 dollars a bottle, but I feel it's worth it because some of their colors, are truly amazing. I don't have any of these right now that are MUST haves, but I do like these two. The one on the left is called Trout Pout, and the on on the right is called Henley Regatta. Trout Pout is my favorite, because it is a really salmony pink which is really nice when you don't want a very bright pink, and you don't want a light pink. Henley Regatta is a glitter polish, and I like it as an accent nail with a blue-green color as the base nail. These go on really smooth, and they don't leave any streaks behind!

LUSH The Comforter

This is from LUSH and it's one of their bubble bars. If you've never had a bubble bar before they are bars and you break them off and put them in the bathtub and they create bubbles. I love these, you will be seeing more reviews of these because they're definitely worth it. The comforter cost $9.95 and it was totally worth it. I put it in the bath and it bubbles and smells really nice, and it turns the water pink! It makes your bath feel extra special, and its natural which is a bonus for me!
Have you tried any of their bubble bars?

OPI NYC Ballet Collection

Nude, sheer, and sparkles. Best combo ever. I was a little bit skeptical about buying these so I decided to buy the petites. And I'm super glad that I did. It came with four colors. The white one is called Don't Touch My Tutu, the purple is called Care to Danse? they grey is called My Pointe Exactly and the sparkle is called Pirouette My Whistle. These colors look awesome and pale, and pastel in the bottle which I loved. But when you put them on you have to put a ton of coats on to bring out just a hint of color. As you can see in the swatches they all kind of look the same. And those swatches are with four coats. If you're gonna buy any of these I would say buy Pirouette My Whistle. It shows up well because it sparkles and I just feel like the others are nice, interview appropriate colors, but just not exciting enough for me.
What do you think of these colors?

April 2012 Birchbox

FINALLY! I feel like I have literally been waiting forever to get my box! And I actually like my box! Even though I thought I wouldn't. This month is earth month, so they were trying to go green basically(except taylor swift.)For those of you who don't know birchbox is a subscription and you receive 4-5 samples products for $10 a month. Sign up here! So in my box I received
1. J.R. Watkins Hand&Cuticle Salve- I really like this, you just rub your finger in it and apply it to your cuticles, it makes them super soft, and you only have to apply it like once every two days.
2. Taylor Swift Wonderstruck- I know everyone thinks, wow another perfume sample as a real sample. I thought that too, but I actually didn't mind getting this one because it smells quite good.
3. Alima Pure Nourishing Lip Balm- I'm not particularly fond of this lip balm. Its pigmented, a sort of nudey-pink. And I always like nude and pink but this is just sort of a grandma color. It also went on a bit harder than you would expect. But it did have a minty feel to it, and I enjoyed that.
4. Jurlique Day Cream- I really like this cream. And it's a nice sized sample, and you really only need a little bit. The only thing I didn't like about this cream was that it made my skin very oily for about 30 minutes, but I suppose that was just it setting in because after that my skin was very soft.
5. Dropps Natural Laundry detergent- They said this is a lifestyle extra, and honestly...I don't know. I was so upset when I saw this. It's a good idea, going with the natural, but I signed up for cosmetics. But what can you do?
Over all it was a good month, I'm happier than I thought I would be.
